Cats

We saw Cats tonight. It wasn't bad, but the show I saw in Pretoria a few years ago was better, but then they had a bigger, better stage to start with. We sat next to the sound people, which meant that every time they moved their lights caught ones eye. What was really unacceptable was the sound people chattering along while the show was on. Really irrtating. At least they didn't do that fo long. One expects some arrogant asshole in the audience to talk; not the theatre people.

What really p'ed us off was that the parking nearest to the theatre charged £5.40. Absolutely ridiculous. All other parking areas are £2/£3 after 18:00. We went somewhere else & walked the 2 blocks. After paying £53 for the tickets, at not the best seats in the house, to then be expected to pay £5.40 for parking will make us think twice before going to the theatre again.

It was cold in the morning, but not bad during the day. When we walked to the car after the show it was actually quite pleasant.
