Fixed!

Ever since upgrading to Mavericks my computer has been running slowly, but I'm the lazy kind of person who can't be bothered downgrading my OS, so I just put up with it. Today, while sorting, compressing and uploading travel photos to Facebook, I decided to look into it and then managed to fix it somewhat. Lots of kernel panics from old software and broken plugins, but thanks to the marvels of the internet I managed to sort it all out. I think. There may still be a mysterious Picasa plugin I can't find, but I'll give it a few days then check in on general progress again.

My evening took a turn for the crafty with a session of crafting, fish and chips, wine, Gilmore Girls, and Christmas biscuits. It was my first time watching GG, and I'm not sure jumping through the seasons to watch the Christmassy episodes was he best introduction, but I'm sure it won't be the last time I watch it.
