Staff Party

Today was a day of talks and meetings... I didn't even sit at my desk.

The work day came to a close and we all migrated to Fitzroy bowls club for our staff Christmas party. I decided to get the bowls out of the way quickly, so played a disasterous first game (right off the green! You really don't need to roll those things with any force!) a slightly better second, and I outright won my third with a close first ball and taking out the jack with my second throw. I guess I got my eye in! (I left it at that lest I lose the next one!).

There was beer, meat and then some dancing which was good to get out of the system. Everyone seemed to be feeling relaxed and having a good time! I made a sensible retreat just after 10pm... I'm looking forward to having time with Gina and Miles this weekend and didn't want to wake up too groggy.

These lego men were nothing to do with the party, but I spotted them from up the road, grabbed the camera and snapped them over the fence.

I do love a good costume!
