American Bald Eagle

After a nice sleep in, we stopped at Krispy Kreme for some low calorie doughnuts and then headed off to the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa Bay, FL

It was cool (63 degrees) and cloudy when we arrived at 9:30. By 10:30, the sun was out in full force and temperatures warmed up quite nicely (mid-seventies).

The zoo was practically void of tourists which was awesome and most of the animals were out and active. My favorite animals here are the Orangutans and the Bald Eagles.
