Springhead Farm from the South Downs escarpment

Today was an Inset Day at work, so a day off for me!. While many are battling the Christmas rush, I went for a walk while it was dry on the South Downs from Kithurst Hill car park westwards. I took a lot of pictures and this view was taken from the top of the escarpment looking down on Springhead Farm towards the end of the walk. The light area to the bottom left is an area of maize or millet again, for use as game cover. I saw one Buzzard and a lot of Pheasants and even some plants in flower. These were Gorse, Yarrow, one Dandelion and White Dead Nettle! It was a very breezy walk but well worth it for the views and fresh air after being cooped up indoors all week!
