Twin towers

The blip shows the roof and the two bell towers of Munich's cathedral Frauenkirche, without any scaffolding attached to them. This sight is rather rare, as for the last 3 years the northern (right) tower was restored. For a few weeks the two towers are without any scaffolding, until restauration of the 12 centimetres smaller southern (left) bell tower will begins after New Year's Day and will take another 3 years.

The weather today was obviously brilliant.
