An afternoon with Ale.
Had nother lovely afternoon with Alessandro.
No homework to do, thank goodness.
We played snakes and ladders, then turned the board over and played a game of Junk Versus Healthy food, which is a game I invented in order to make anti junk food propaganda.
Today he tried to push his personal limits by playing with 5 dice, managing quite well, adding them up in his head.
Following that, it was Monopoly in English which he can't read, so he soon got fed up with that.
Then he kept himslef busy with game book full of mazes while I began cooking.
Nonno came home and the two of them decided to get the flipping electric train out - on the dinner table 40 minutes before dinner.
Alessandro displayed much more patience than his grandad who couldn't get it to work, no surprise since it hasn't been used for the last 20 years.
Dinner didn't go very well at all as Ale didn't feel hungry and acted really silly and naughty.
Having given up on dinner, Nonno and Ale took turns in reading out loud.
I'm feeling rather tired.
