Wedding Day

Today we enjoyed a wonderful wedding ceremony for our nephew and his bride. We delivered all the floral decorations on time this morning, and the set up took a great deal less time than I had feared. This was partly due to the excellent organisers at the lovely wedding venue.

After the ceremony, the official photographer made the most of the remaining light to take the required portraits, before moving back indoors. Then someone pointed out the beautiful December sunset, and we all rushed outside again to take pictures of the happy couple in front of the dramatic red sky.

An excellent wedding breakfast followed, then dancing into the night, with an enjoyable top-up buffet half way through the evening. A great day for all the family.
