The advent calendar

We brought CJ an advent calendar this year. The first couple of days he was unsure what it was, he enjoyed ripping the little cardboard door off and tearing the foil but didn't seem to bothered by the "item" inside...

By day four, after watching us eat the "item", he decided to give it a try. Now he can't get to the chocolate quick enough.


On a different note, this is my 500th blip. Is hard to believe that I have been taking a photo of CJ and our family life, every day, for 500 days (I have photo's for the few days that are currently blank in my journal - just need the time to backblip them). But what a record we now have of him growing up that we can all look back on.

I will keep the list of this years favourites for my 2 year anniversary - but if I had to pick my favourite out of the 500 (and that is not an easy thing to do), it would be Best friends. It just reminds of how far we have come in such a short space of time...
