Mediaeval Diet
More report writing today. I had to look at some bird-bones from a previous site for comparative purposes, and was reminded about some of the highlights of the Scottish mediaeval diet... this is the breastbone and femur of a gannet; the breastbone has been chewed by a dog, but you can see cut marks on the femur.
I imagine it tasted pretty fishy :(
