Vibernum

A warm day and I went down the bay and got some nice shots of waders in flight and saw a black tailed godwit, with the help of a nice man I met there. However I thought I would try out this shot with the viburnum which comes into flower just when you thought the garden was dead. Surprisingly at this time of year it also has a nice scent. The cyclamen are on the way out but gamely struggling on and surprisingly the winter jasmine is yet to bloom although the buds are showing yellow so it will not be long. Then it will be the snowdrops and we will think spring is on the way. With temperatures in double figures I don't feel summer has really ended. We certainly haven't had any real winter yet.
