Hey! That's a Woodpecker!

I couldn't believe it. Among the throng of Bluejays doing their best to get the sunflower seeds off the dried heads ringing the garden was a Woodpecker who clung to the side of the Locust tree for a minute, long enough for me to run like a madwoman into the dining room, grab my camera off the table and make a mad dash back to the studio in order to get this mediocre shot right out the window. I hope you can see him because he is a rare visitor in my neighborhood! Big snow on the way so I'll have plenty to blip tomorrow!
