GREAT TUCKER.........

..... whilst sorting out a bit in the garden this morning notice an Indian Minor really going off at something! As you can see on the link (Lane Cove Council site info) they are a pest to other birds.

Then noticed this Red Wattlebird having a good ole feed on the Robyn Gordon.

It then took off, at a rate of knots, and made a B-line for the Indian Minor!

The Wattlebird won, came back to continue feeding. We are so lucky to have a good array of birds feeding in the yard. The info on this bird is found on the Birds in Backyard link above, have listen on this link to its distinctive call, and you may have noticed under it's beak are two red flaps to go with the red eye, hence the name of this variety.
