another sunrise

After the impressive sky on Thursday morning I was hoping for another good sunrise. Unable to get any foreground interest in the last one, today I was wandering in the dark down a narrow lane looking for something. Found it but had to squelch through a muddy field entrance and go carefully down the side of what was earlier this year a field of maize.

My shoes are now on the doorstep in need of a clean. Another day of decorating ahead.
