Well-fed

Today it was my turn to take the waste bag to the rubbish bin. Someone had put a big branch on the bins. I started to open the lid of the bin and then I jumped one meter back. There where a green snake on the red cover of the bin.

The Green Vine Snake (Ahaetulla nasuta) laid there, it looked quite pleased with it's swollen stomach. Apparently he had just earlier eaten some good breakfast.

Just for information, it is not poisonous for humans. I didn't know it when I met it :-).
