Cutting Holly

We have two large holly trees behind the house which , this year, are absolutely laden with berries. But the storms of the last few weeks - and the birds - have been rapidly denuding them.

This morning Cathleen & I concluded that we had to cut some of the branches today if we were to have any holly to decorate the house or give away ( and we usually do both) this Christmas.

Cutting holly in a gale is, however, challenging .......
