She's had it!

The hallway color is just what we wanted. K the painter is sanding plaster patches in the guest room, then perhaps we'll see the new color on the walls there today as well. It's supposed to be the moss from this color chart. When the paint guys showed us the color in the can it didn't look like that, but monitors are awful with color. Paint, especially this Dutch paint we use, looks very different on walls, especially after a second coat. The heliotrope walls will get a second coat as well. These paint folks worked with Martha Stewart years ago making paint to match seashells and eggshell colors that she sent them for her many paint collections. She was difficult as one might expect...
