Display of aggression!

We went for a walk along the river Severn at Worcester this morning. The river was busy with rowers from the various clubs, the swans and other birds. I thought the Uni girls were brave in their flipflops in the freezing cold water.

There were dozens of dog walkers with assortment of “pooches”. We had taken Dejay who was very sociable to all and sundry.

As we came back by Diglis Basing there was a minor incident underway. A pair of swans who reside in the area by the lock, were trying to drown a young swan that had arrived from another part of the river. Fortunately a chap with a pole was providing protection whilst they waited for the Swan Rescue people.

A detour into town for coffee and a quick visit to M&S before getting the bus back to D’s.
