wanna play?

Great day today! The Husband took an unexpected day off. The Christmas market was on in town so we took the puppies up to be admired socialise. They wore their bright coats to aid visibility as they are a trip hazard. A walk along the High Street took a long time with seemingly everyone wanting to stop and fuss the puppies. Emily and Storm dealt with it well, Grace needed a little cuddle to get her through all the people. We bought some hand made dog treats and fancy pies.

Off to the duck pond to sit on a sunny bench to eat our pies, with help of course. Storm was disgusted with us feeding the ducks and geese when he could have eaten the food himself. His face was a picture. He went almost nose to beak with a swan. Maybe he thought it was friendly because it was waggling its tail like he was. No pecking or wing flapping. It followed us round the pond until new people arrived with food.

Back at home, we tidied the garden and put up some reed screening where Emily climbs the fence into the neighbours' garden. The Husband relocated our chiminea and stones around it. Grace enjoyed helping dig holes. Emily tried to climb the screening. She can get half way up before getting stuck which is a big improvement on scaling the mesh fence and climbing on to the neighbours' trampoline where their dog and cats sunbathe. She wants to be friends too. We ran out of light so weather permitting a few more jobs tomorrow to finish it off :)
