The Wonder of Woolies

Wandering around the town as the light fades in the days before Christmas it's just not the same.

This is the shop that used to be F W Woolworth in Glossop.

I do miss Woolworth's it was where I bought my lovely green teapot, my copy of Best of Deborah Harry and Blondie CD [Boxing day sale!] and all my Christmas wrapping paper, ribbon & tags.

Of course Heron Foods have plenty of well priced chocolates, Double Four records (no Vinyl!), Poundstretcher and the Market stalls have most things covered but it's just not the Wonder of Woolies
