Bottling time

Well about 45 days ago we started making our cider.

Tonight we have bottle our first set of bottles (14 330ml bottles).

I added a small amount of sugar to the bottle first, so hopefully these will be fizzy ones (fingers crossed).

Still got over 20+ litres of cider to go; and have another load of bottles being sterilised for tomorrow.

Plus I'll be filling up some of the bag-in-boxes tomorrow.

So I shall hopefully end up with some still; and some sparkling.

It's been a good journey; but hopefully next year we'll have more apples; and I might make them in smaller batches.

Now let's just hope none of the bottles explode in the cellar whilst they age.
