Snowflakes on Wood

Very light snow began around 10 am, and has continued into the early evening, gradually falling faster; this was taken on our front porch at about 3 pm. View it large to better see the flakes.

The forecast is for heavier snow overnight, with perhaps over six inches (15 cm) on the ground by morning. I love it, Marylee not at all, and our situation is complicated by my being housebound recovering from the minor operation on my foot. But we have plenty of food in the house and we will ride it out.
