Hobbit - The Desolation of Smaug

Truly fantastic. A story that will capture you so completely that two and a half hours feel like 20 minutes, amazing Real 3D Imax images (giant spiders alert for arachnophobia sufferers, I was desperately trying not to focus on many, many scuttling legs...), the best battle scene I have ever seen with dwarves in barrels, breathtaking scenery and the dragon. Go see it just for Smaug and his treasure, you won't be disappointed.
