Hapuawhenua Viaduct

Left Christchurch for Ohakune today, via Wellington.

I had all day to get there, and leaving my skis behind decided to have a leisurely drive and take photos. Which was great. Lots of interesting shots.

Arrived at Ohakune around 3.30 and decided to walk part of the new cycleway to the Hapuawhenua Viaduct. About an hours brisk walk and well worth it. The viaduct is restored and you can walk/bike over it. Awesome!

Then drinks with the RAL team and back to the apartment for a quite night.
