Back on the Mekong

This morning we took out boat out on the river again. It's received some repairs and TLC in the last few months, including engine repairs, wood work, a paint job in local Cham colours and a Cambodian flag.

It was great to be out in it again, especially when we moored up and jumped into the cool water (although we had to swim hard to compensate for the strong down river flow), before getting out to lie on the deck gazing up at palm trees and blue sky, listening to Pied Kingfishers chatter, and eating bread and cheese.
