Silk

Today has been very s l o w after our big Alpine themed Christmas dinner last night. There were 20 of us. Drink was taken; secret Santa gifts were given and received; carols were sung (in German, with gusto) and the Christmas quiz was hard-fought (and won by a team called It's All Downhill From Here). Oh, and the food was fabulous. A splendid evening all round!

Today Paul left for New York on a four day work trip. Sigh. The most exciting thing I've done all day was buy some silk flowers - here they are.
