And so it proved. Although the morning was clear the afternoon was wet, cold and windy. Collected Christmas tree from Holy Corner but had trouble with the log and had to take it back to have a bit more trunk trimmed off and the log thumped back on.

Wondering whether a day trip to Stornoway on Tu is such a good idea given the weather forecast...
