Another attempt at going to see the Christmas lights aborted. We got as far as Kirkintilloch turn-off then did an about-turn. There was nothing else for it but to have lunch in the Red Deer instead. The people at the three tables around us all spoke to is because of Conor, telling us what a lovely baby they thought he is. The last table we had a big conversation with as we were leaving, as Orla told them what school she went to, her name, age, teachers' names and what she's getting for Christmas.
Today's Christmas baking went a bit awry. I made a batch of biscuits and forgot to put any sugar in them. I currently have another pannetone proving, so hopefully that will be a success and will cheer me up a bit.
