i couldn't decide between this photograph and another i took later today in a rare book store george and i stumbled across. i had a fabulous day in the city despite being given the wrong address for my interview this morning. george and i wandered the upper east side, took a cab to the nearest starbucks but jumped out on lexington instead, changed in said starbucks bathroom while a line of half a dozen well dressed business men waited outside, ate at the palace diner, got stopped by a street salesman actor man with dreamy eyes, shopped at bloomingdales which is now a permanent staple of my fashion conscience and walked around central park looking for a nuts for nuts stand. all in all a good day.
