Spitfire at Kelvingrove

Glasgow City Council reopened Kelvingrove Museum in 2006 after a three year refurbishment, part of which was rebuilding this Spitfire inside the building.

It's an amazing place. Blippers' paradise!

We had lunch in the cafe on the lower ground floor. The food was great, and the mellow lighting created a nice ambience. Although we had taken Orla to Kelvingrove before, it was when she was very small and in a pram. She was walking round (not unaided yet) and was very excited about it all.
