Spotted Towhee

One of the more rare guests at the feeding place. Shy and quick. Picture was taken through the window, so not cristal clear.

Am frustrated: used the whole morning to bake a pretty big batch of the German "Vanille-Kipferl" , typical Christmas cookies, only to discover afterwards that the butter that I used had salt in it. That's a no-no for these cookies…(It did not say so on the package, only in the ingredients it was mentioned.) So, bakers out there, be aware and look into the ingredients.
