Seasonal Flood Lighting

Back in town this afternoon for the last rehearsal for Clic Sargent Hospitals choir at St Andrews and St Georges West, which following our usual Sunday Service plus a short concert of five choruses from Handel's Messiah in aid of our favoured charity, Friends of Goboti, might be regarded as a sing too far.

It appeared that there had been a cloudburst while we were busy indoors, as we emerged into pouring rain, to find gutterings overflowing and this huge puddle engulfing the pavement and kerbside, such that a pair of wellies would have been useful.

I took advantage of the wonderful reflections and Jenners' floodlighting as we splashed our way home.
