Pink and Purple

I had little time to get a blip today, and had a wander around near Haymarket station at lunchtime. The photo was taken just along the road where the tram comes up to its stop at the station. I thought the girl well co-ordinated but she doesn't quite go with the Kilt Store's decor.

A quick update on the poppy. After the gale and rain of yesterday, I was somewhat surprised to see a petal left. After this afternoon's onslaught there's nae chance.

Good to see Andy Murray is BBC Sports Personality of 2013. He sounds boring, but fully deserved the award for his exploits on the courts.
