Birdwatching at one of Perton's lakes
Watched the birds for a bit today on one of the lakes in Perton. This is in the centre of Perton so we walk past it very regularly on our trips to the supermarket. There are a couple of familiar characters in the Canadian Geese flock which we have named, though we didn't see either of those on this trip. The cygnets are almost fully grown now, though still grey so they've got some developing still to do. There were quite a few gulls around on this day too, and moor hens.
I find water incredibly relaxing and am so glad we have lakes in our town. They're not huge but big enough and interesting enough to watch for a while.
