tough trees

Today was a dropping off and a picking up sort of day - kids needing to be everywhere. Managed to get a walk in while Sienna was at a birthday party - up a favourite hill that gives you a quick, sharp workout and some fantastic views. This is coming down the other side - these trees pretty much look like this summer and winter - battered by the relentless winds up there - not pretty but with their own stark beauty.

Then it was off to another party - for Sienna and some drinks at friends (as it was my birthday too!), with another kid pick up and finally home for cake.

Work is seeming like a rest in comparison to home life these days!
