British Library Science Quiz

I managed to persuade some of my colleagues to enter for the British Library Christmas Science Quiz. We only just made it in time for the start as two of us were involved in a meeting with a very talkative and interesting visitor to the offices. Our newest recruit who will be working in the USA also joined the team.

We were a bit daunted when we arrived - the picture quiz was on x-ray crystallography! However we did OK and finished a very creditable joint 4th out of 25 teams. It was a fun evening and we enjoyed a glass of wine and a mince pie while we racked our brains for the answers.
