Maureen the bad fairy

We went to see Sleeping Beauty at Theatre Severn this evening - I'd very kindly been given free tickets as a representative of the press (and was thus allowed to take photos) but, since it's been a long time since I was last at a pantomine, I wasn't sure whether it would be as good as it seemed all those years ago or actually just a bit awful. Fortunately my fears were unfounded and it was very entertaining and very funny, with all of the classic ingredients and a bit of up-to-date theatrical magic as well. Out of several possible choices for which photo to use I've gone with the villain, partly because she was so good in a suitably over the top way, and also because a bad fairy seems fitting for Friday the 13th.
