Pedant in action

Managed to get to Pilates again this morning. I could feel my stomach muscles as soon as I left the class.

Went up to the new M&S Food store for some bread for lunch and spotted this sign over the sweets and confectionery. The word 'confectionary' just shouted out to my editor's eyes. I checked when I got back home and I'm pretty sure that 'confectionary' is always wrong (unless it might possibly refer to somewhere that makes confectionery). The sign is pretty large - wonder if they'd change it if I let them know?

Had a lazy afternoon of knitting and trying out the magic loop method of making a mitt. Really enjoyed creating something and learning a new way of knitting.
