Lovely Bacon

So my girlfriend just got her new 50mm Canon f1.4 USM lens and I was keen to try it out. She was making our lunch at the time so I figured "Hell, why not take a photo of this bacon".

I ran it through an auto-enhancement in Aperture and it's kinda cooled the image down a bit. I'm not quite sure if I prefer it like that or not. I think this image looks a bit cold.
