The accident

A certain little man was sat by the ladder of his bed and toppled out. He hit his head as he fell to the ground.

Now he cried right away, didn't feel dizzy or sick, and could talk fine. Any other child and you could more or less leave them, but it's different with a child who has Leukaemia.

So at 9.30 the doctor called back and said we could take him to our local hospital to get a blood tests - if his platelets were too low then he'd need a CAT scan. Thankfully they were high enough.

My husband said they were treated very well. They were home by 11pm.
