Uniform

This topic has a few definitions, this is my perception of Uniform.
"The distinctive clothing worn by members of the same organisation"
I had Santa in my mind ( the Santa Club) trying to keep in the Christmas spirit of things, but I just couldn't walk up to Santa in the shopping mall and ask him! Funny that, kids can ask him for all sorts of stuff and I couldn't ask him for a blip! So back to the drawing board.
And then I thought of the lifeguards at the local beach!

I just caught them with minutes to spare, one guard was rolling up one of the two red and yellow flags that are placed metres apart on the beach, swimmers and surfers are supposed to stay in between these flags for safety, they had already packed on their beach buggy their surf boards, body boards, the tall hut they sit in just watching for anyone who has gotten themselves in trouble in the surf, or just recently for any white pointers that swim in to close, although the helicopter is always flying up and down the coastline keeping watch.

The lifeguards have worn the same style of uniform since the first surf lifeguard club was established at Cottesloe Beach in the Spring of 1909, today most suburbs have these strong brave young men and women patrolling our beaches during the hot summer months.
38c again today with a high humidity.

We went to Yanchep for a BBQ enjoyed a glorious sunset on the drive home, now the sun has gone to bed its still 26c although a lot cooler.
Hope everyone has a good, safe Monday?
