Cards off!

A wet and windy Sunday afternoon, so with a cd of Christmas music playing, I set about writing my Christmas cards!
At six o'clock, we walked through wind and rain to church for the Candlelit Carol Service. It seemed that the weather did not deter many people, as the church was packed. We each had a candle to sing by, but when I went up to read the first lesson, it was quite difficult to read the small print of the Bible in the candlelight ! However, I managed! After a lovely service, we all enjoyed mulled wine and mince pies, before braving the weather once again!
