Blue!
In the shop this morning.
Someone was complaining about a bus driver that wouldn't let his dog onto the bus without a lead. Letters are to be written apparently.
The first sale of the day was a Santa decoration for a Christmas tree - fifty pence.
Things really started to heat up. Someone bought two shirts for four pounds.
And that was about it really until I left at twelve thirty.
The excitement of the retail business is quite overwhelming at times!
I quite like getting Christmas letters but sometimes I wonder. The ones that go on about their third house in Dubai and how they only managed to visit it six times this year; about their fabulous grandchildren who will almost certainly win gold medals in the next Olympics; about how they were given the "Citizen of the Year" award for the fifth year running!
Okay, I exaggerate a little but ....
My Christmas letter is about the slow cooker I bought and I've managed to include a picture of it.
The sea really was this colour today.
Favourite Film: Today's choice is Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho". I watched it a few weeks ago and I was surprised at how frightening I still found it. A great film though.
This is one of my favourite songs from Joni Mitchell's Blue. (Notice the link to the title)
It's sort of Christmassy.
P.S. The best line in one of these letters we received was " If ******* had any sense he would have retired by now, but he hasn't and he hasn't"
