Christmas lunch

A cold but dry day today.

We had a fabulous morning of country dancing this morning, followed by a Christmas lunch at a local hotel..... where we had some more dancing, then our lunch, then some more dancing...... finishing off with Auld Lang Syne.

It was a rather emotional time as this will be the last Christmas lunch that we have with Margaret as our teacher, as she is retiring as our teacher in the summer. Monday mornings are probably the best country dancing classes you could ever have, such a happy group, so many friendships made.

I would encourage anyone who can to take up Scottish Country Dancing, there are classes just about everywhere the world over...... we lived in Canada for five years and danced there with a group. It is wonderful exercise, both physically and mentally.
