South Queensferry Seagulls

Another meeting in South Queensferry, and this time it was these seagulls that caught my eye.

Clearly the one closest to me is very distrustful; he is keeping a careful eye on me. But this is obviously a favourite gathering place for the feathered folk, because the birds behind him are sitting quite relaxedly, enjoying watching the waves lap at the bottom of the sea wall.

In the background is a replica of a hexagonal "Penfold" pillar box, and behind that the village of South Queensferry itself.
