Happy Birthday Daz

Fantastic day in the Peaks, picnicking, drinking wine, climbing and having a laugh with good friends. First time I've climbed on proper rock. It was scary. I swore a lot and grazed my elbow but managed to get to the top and felt very proud of myself.

On the way back to the bunkhouse, Tom fell off his skateboard going down a big hill. He seemed fine, just grazes on both knees and elbows, until he got back to the bunkhouse and was coming down the loft ladder and dislocated his shoulder, so had to go to hospital. You'd think if any injuries were going to be had, it would've been rock climbing after a few beers!! Anyway, he got sorted and was fine and they made it back for last orders. Had a great night in a pub in Hathersage and the night was rounded off back at the bunkhouse with spiderman birthday cake and quotations from Roger's profanasurus, read out by our very own Roger.
