A flicker of colour to the west

Full of community spirit, I volunteered to work a couple of hours at the Sheep's Head Producers' Market. It's currently in what was the old creamery and is very basic - a large tin shed really with no door! They have amassed over 80 producers living in or near the Sheep's Head and have a huge variety of things to buy from driftwood crafts to jewellery, paintings to jams, crochet to cards (yes, Wayfarer of course!), plants to potatoes. Kilcrohane is the last village before America and currently pretty quiet but I did sell a rather snazzy hat. I am now frozen for it is open to the elements and there is no heating! I read a 2011 copy of the Tatler, rearranged a few things and walked up and down a lot! My good deed for the day.

Grey, cold and breezy but there was flicker of colour in the west on my way home. That rather alarming downpour is just where my house is!
