Mini Moon

It's the last full moon of the year.
This one is known as the cold moon or also the long nights moon.
It's also a mini moon just now as it is slightly smaller than we normally see it.
This is because this one coincides with the moon coincides with it approaching the apogee of its orbit around our fair planet (furthest out point out)
It actually is at apogee on the 19th.
A better explanation can be found here
Universe Today
It's been mostly wet today, some very deliberate rain on the go.
Hope that you've all had a good day
