The Dave with a Dragon Tattoo

I've no doubt this is going to provoke mixed reactions.

Our karate Renshi (master) already has quite a collection of tattoos; a life in the merchant navy is probably a factor. This one is the start of a 3-year project of a dragon. It was a little tender tonight, having only been done this week.

My own reaction to tattooing has changed substantially over the years. Starting from an, undoubtedly parentally-influenced, strong dislike and astonishment that anyone would do it to themselves, I've since seen seen some very good examples, especially abstract designs, that are really quite attractive.

As far as the dragon goes, it's more appreciation of the skill of the artist on what can't be an easy canvas. It suits Dave though.

The recently oft-mentioned tyre company redeemed themselves slightly today. The guy in the van who came out to fit the tyres arrived when he said, and completed the job in exactly the time he said he would.

And they've not fallen off yet. Bonus!
