Museum day

I haven't been to the Museum of Art and History for ages.

Today I went in to help set up for their major fundraising event. Table settings, strings of lights, huge art posters, a photo booth...it all looked great when we'd done.

I really like the positive get-things-done attitude here. At almost all my volunteer things, I get a bit antsy at the start (and sometimes in the middle), when things start to look SO flipping disorganised. Not at all my natural state to shut up and get on with it.

But the goodwill and energy count for a huge amount, and it all works out fine in the end. I may be evolving.
